    G'day Sneigy,

My RRC gets heaps of sparrow droppings on it and they don't appear to do any damage. However, the whole vehicle was resprayed after light hail damage and maybe the clear coat is a different compound to what's used in production. Also a bird's diet must have a big impact on what damage their dropping do.

We had decided not to persue the white one, but thanks for the info anyway.

When I was inspecting my D3 prior to purchase, I didn't notice that the seller (widow of the owner) was judiciously opening & closing doors & standing in strategic spots so that I didn't notice the "etching" from bird droppings on two doors. I don't know how long the droppings had been there for this to occur.

    Mine is Buckingham Blue.

    Best Wishes,
    Peter
