    fog lamps

    hi people,

been up to montville today and it was raining up there, never needed the fog lamps until today, funny thing is, I didn't know how to turn it on!, wife had to read the manual while we were drving! , anyway, to cut long story short, my fog lamps seems to be broken (no green light on dash) when I pull the swith to correct position (2), the rear fog lights works though (3). Any ideas?, not really crash hot on bringing it to the dealer just for fog lights, but will ofcourse do if it's really busted.

    Disco SE (2007)

    thanks.

    Hey Sheckster,

I think it is time to call the dealer.

If your head lights are on parkers or above and you pull the light switch out one notch, your fog lights should illuminate, along with the green indicator on the dash.

Any deviation from this would suggest a fault.

I would check to see if the lights are working first and not just a problem with with the indicator. They don't make much difference, so check first.

    Cheers
    Grant.

    hey drover,

Thanks for that, I thought as much. Both not working, fog lights not working and no indicator on the dash either, that's when the switch is pulled up one notch and the head lights on (even tried with parkers on). annoying more than anything since, as previously stated, never neaded to fogs before and the time I wanted to use it, it's gone awol on me.

    cheers

Check the fuse first but there have been some issues with the fog light harness rubbing somewhere.
