						I think we're meant to guess.
But I cannot see what could have happened that could have caused fuel line problems, AND water pump, AND transmission fluid all to need fixing, AND clearly not Jamo's fault because it's courtesy Land Rover.
Clue please Jamo.
Sorry about the confusion,
I couple of months ago, I checked the brake vacuum pipe that's inside the aux battery cover and some oil was evident therein.
So I took her up to Perth to have the vacuum pump, boooster, master cylinder and vacuum pipes replaced.
When I picked her up, I was informed by the service manager that a fuel leak was evident in the vicinity of the HP fuel pump and coolant leak was evident in the vicinity of the water pump.
As the fish in the pot said to the cat in the hat "Do I like this, oh no, I do not!".
When I got home I was a bit peeved so I sent of a letter to LR Customer Assistance. Got the standard No back so sent another one after reading some advice here.
Got a call back from LRCA telling me they would collect the car, take it to the nearest dealer, find and correct all problems, then send it back and check to make sure I'm happy.
The fuel tank was an older issue where the gauge hadstopped working correctly. The front sender unit had fallen off and you need a 6ft arm with three elbows to put it back, so it's a new tank.
The gearbox got flushed as it has the shudders when under load. Several others have had the same situation. ZF's website states the same as LR 'filled for life' but adds that where the vehicle is being used for towing, high speeds or in relatively high temperatures, the ATF should be changed every 80-120,000km.
Basically all these things have happened around the same time, but are not linked directly, although I wouldn't be surprised if the supplier for the Vacuum pump is the same coy that supplies the HP fuel pump.

No, I didn't. When mine was coming out of warranty, there wasn't one offered here.
I relied upon LR's goodwill, which was good!
The Trade Practices Act provides for an implied warranty, irrespective of the express warranty provided for by the manufacturers. The provisions of the TPA are also echoed in the various state fair trading acts. Basically you're covered for 'use for which it's intended', driveability and safety issues. Common Law has held that this may extend up to 10 years from purchase.
LRCA have been very good about it and have called regularly to let me know of the progress.
About to take her for a drive, but already there's a diferrence just driving up the driveway.
I hadn't noticed before but obviously the gear selector had been getting stiffer as now it's a smooth as silk.
