Called in to discuss the brake problems with the Brisbane dealer (Austral) and ask about any recall. They checked the VIN number and advised that yes the vehicle was covered (by a recall?); the vehicle is booked for repair work on Mon.

Despite being advised that oil had been found in the booster they expected the fault to be the "valve sticking condition' mentioned above. Be interesting to see what they uncover on Monday.

No mention of any recall advice to myself or other owners - so I expect if I hadn't asked the question I would not have heard from them.

    Hi Warrigal,
Have you owned the D3 from new? If not, have your details been given to LRA?

    Best Wishes,
    Peter

I've owned the car since new but leased through my Govt employer....so quite possibly Canberra or the leasing office have some mail for me that's gone astray.

    Good thinking, thank you.
