Pink seat covers? Well at least it will give other 4WDers something else to laugh about as they tow us out of ditches

    Haha! Funny thread!

Fifi - as far as car forums go, I doubt there is one on the web that has as many (active) lassies as this one. In fact, AULRO has many female moderators.

    Welcome.

However, my wife put 91 octane in it once. We thought it was broken. Very slow. To the point that you had to allow bigger gaps to pull out into, etc. It was quite unnerving until we got used to it.

It seemed to take a couple of tanks of 98 to get the system back to normal. If I'd been thinking I'd have dropped a bottle of octane booster in as soon as she confessed.

Well I have heard that one needs to communicate with ones spouse - but in the public domain??? I not sure whether to feel honoured by these unbridled displays of communication, or embarassed for the couple in that they seem to have lost each others phone numbers. Where does it go from here? Stuff the fuel consumption or whatever the question was. I think I am learning something here.

Milton, he's in South America at the moment. Telephone communication there is difficult at the best of times! Not every country has fabulous Telecoms like Telstra !

Actually it wasn't my intention to communicate with him on here - I didn't tell him I became a member. Just happened we both found the forum at similar times and then he recognised me. Oh, that sounds bad, doesn't it ?

300+ and Chops - those were very interesting comments. Thank you for taking the time to make them.

Just to rule out any typos, your economy/power were poor on the BP Ultimate 98?

    Cheers, Steve
