    But if you press lock twice (deactivates the dead lock and motion sensor if you have them) it also allows the fuel cap to open.

    Urgent help Please

    Happens occasionally. After contacting LandRover at the servo when it happened to myself - the procedure explained was to get in drivers seat, turn key to "on" position, not starting the car, shift the transmission into drive, put foot on brake and then turn key into start position which will not start it, and hold key for a count of at least six seconds and then release key and shift trans back to park, get out of car, lock it and unlock by the fob and the flap will pop open. This has reset the computer.

    As usual, I am profoundly thankful for this forum.

    Happened today, could not open the filler cap at the servo for the life of me. Was at the just rip it open stage when I thought to myself, nope, just go home, check out aulro and see if there is a fix.

    I'm a smart feller me...
