    Bear in mind the kerb, or tare weight varies according to the definition used. Land Rover have used the EC definition which includes a 68kg driver and 7kg of luggage. Japanese manufacturers do not, hence the D3 appears heavier. Thus brochure weights are not necessarily exact comparisons.

    A D3 is heavier than a RRS because it's longer, and usually has 7 seats.

    they're only a couple of Kg each...and are made of some sort of "elastomer" ...you can remove/replace them laying under the truck ... balancing it in one hand and ...

    P38s and (some) helicopters utilise them ...common solution to high frequency vibrations caused by drive lines... (so I'm told...)

    Just glanced through this review on the Prado. Weight quoted is 2435kg.

    The context needs quoting too -- that's for the top-spec diesel auto, equivalent of the D4 HSE. The lightest model in the Prado range is 2210kg.
