    Thx, for all the advise and replies.
    I will start 1 st with the aux battery and Anderson plugs as well as the Engel plug at the back.Needit for a trip in Sept this year to Balulu in Kruger Nat. Park
    I need to order roofrails, I see my vehicle aint got any, to fit R/R.
    I decided I am going to fit an EGT gauge , will post it on here, all DIY.

    Koos, go with the front runner rack. I had one and they're great.

    They use their own tracks which attach to he captive nuts in the roof of the Disco.

    +1 for the Frontrunner rack, I have one as well, The Hannibal is good also but in OZ they are almost double the price of the frontrunner.

    Check out the width of the rack from the Patrol. It may not concern you, but the Frontrunner rack on the Patrol is wider than the rack used for the D3/D4

    EGT gauge

    Try these guys ThermoGuard Instruments
    They supplied mine for a tdi, I know its totally different but he maybe able to help.
