RRS suspension fault "normal height only"

Hey guys looking for some help with my 08rrs, attached my boat the other day with 1 of thoes led converters for the lights and not long after i had gotten a "suspension fault normal height only" message, a few weeks earlier i got the suspension lifting slowly and also system will rise when cooled down, so i did some research and everything pointed to the compressor and the relay! so ive replaced both and still the same problem!! has anyone come across this and or have any advice? ive tried the hard reset etc and nothing changes! any help would be apprecated

Have someone read the fault code and diagnose from there. There are many other components (valves and sensors) that can cause suspension faults and pin pointing them without reading the codes can be difficult.

Yeah I'm going to have to take it to someone with a scan tool, can I safely drive it about 35 ks to get it where it needs to be on the bump stops??

yep, sounds like the compressor, mine was just replaced for the same fault under warranty. it started slowly, a few faults first, then practically every ride.

there may be a solution if you want to save some money, if you search there are some guys who have replaced the desiccant in the dryer, that seems to be the main issue.

btw i got a new type of compressor. i'm sure there is a reason for that.

    HI,just helped a friend yesterday.

He had exactly the same message , we bought the new valve kit LR 020590 , renewed the valve, took the dryer apart , microwaved the silica balls for 5 min at full power , put all together and voilĂ , compressor works again , access too off road height , no lights no problems .
All that done for approx 11 AUD or R 90.00 ZAR

This is the 3rd one I have done, and it fixed the problem.
    I followed this instructions.

Anyone know where to get the firmware to flash up your truck via Faultmate?

From another thread, various parts for rebuild are: YWB500220 -Fuse & relay, LR020590 -Kit, JPO500010 -Kit

    Cheers!
