Hi, I have a 2008 RRS and I use stabiliser bars. When you connect up the EAS raises up to correct for the tow ball weight, then I connect the sway bars. I may be wrong in using them - but I reckon you still get a weight distribution benefit. The 2 plugs are - left side is UK plug, right side is Oz 7 pin (the one you want). You can definately put in 2 batteries. Mine is done with a Traxide dual battery system - the ducks guts I reckon - and per the recommendation on his web site, that is, using a yellow top Optima for the second battery. Have a read of his site, its full of useful info (I have the SC80 isolator - heres the link: http://www.traxide.com.au/isolators/...-standard.html). The second battery goes under the matching battery cover on the other side of the engine bay. Have an Anderson plug at the rear and you can plug in a solar panel for top up charging (mine is connected to 20 watt panel while parked in the shed) or you can plug in a charge wire to the van, a battery charger to the car, a compressor for tyres, etc. Anything you can put an Anderson plug on. Just make sure the wiring to the plug is sufficient gauge. Cant tell you re brake wiring as mine had a in dash Redarc system already wired in.

You have fallen into the AULRO trap - the RRS does not go in the Range Rover section as you would think but the D3/D4 section.

Yes all a bity confusing but there is logic somewhere

I cannot answer the first - I believe you use the black one with an adaptor. Be aware that the left and right trailer tail lights are independently powered and one of these aligns with the trailer brakes so if not modified when you turn the lights on in the car the trailer tail lights will come on but so will the trailer electric brakes - I cannot remember which wire is which but there is plenty on this if you do a search.

Electric brake wiring is not wired in so you will have to get a controller installed and changes to the wiring to the plug - there is a trailer wiring fuse box at the rear where the controller wiring can be connected to.

A second battery can go either under the cover on the drivers side just behind the air box. A battery will also fit in front of the main battery if you move a couple of things around and use a battery tray.

WDH are not recommended by Landrover for these vehicles.

mine is fitted very neatly and very handy to reach alongside of the light switch - see pics attached. Did you get the V8 diesel? Awesome power, mine does not notice the van behind, tho it is only a small one.
