So, the purchase has gone ahead, settlement yesterday, and should be loaded for transport to WA on Monday.

    It's very pretty !

It will need to discover what its terrain response is for in the coming months tho (and so will I)

Will post a pic or two once I figure out how to.

I looked at quite a number of WTY products, but ended up purchasing the Allianz one (Exactly the same as the Landrovery branded version, but whithout roadside assist)
paid $3400 for 2yrs, commencing in 3 mths, after the dealer WTY expires

Clearly the the WTY / Insurance companies are not keen on the Landrover product, or more so, the costs that they are liable for through the LR dealership gougings & LR AU parts pricing.

Sorry mate but pics are required. It's the rules.

Also a quick review of the new RRS would be good.

    Congrats,
Maybe a Green Oval course with Gordon will help you nut out the LR Systems
and capabilities, plus it's a lot of fun too!

    Jack

On Gordon's Facebook page he has a V8 going up a dune, it's sounds awesome

    OK, a couple a pics

The're only dealer ones.... I wo'nt get to cast eyes on it for another week !

Buying sight unseen does have its risks, but in this case as long as its not a lemon,

The dealer assures me its excellent....."as new" even
I dont think it's seen a days work in it's life, so with the Wty I should be ok

Re: the GOE seminar / training .... yeah, I think thats a great idea
unfortunately timing wise, I think theres one happening today, so I've missed it
Hopefully not too long till the next ?

    Regards

Sorry Rar110, It's the outgoing model not the new one
I guess the thread title is a bit misleading.... but it is New to me

Dont think I can edit the title now.

I Did seriously think about the new model, but I find the V8 sound addictive.... as much a part of the experience as any of it
To get a V8 in the new model, by the time you factor in all the charges and taxes, your talking serious $.... more than double what this one cost

Just cant justify the outlay at this point in time
Will be on the radar again in 2yrs.... maybe 3 depending on how entertaining the L320 is

    Regards

No worries. Am interested how you find it anyhow as I have RRV with the same motor. Coincidently I watched 007 Quantum of Solace which featured an earlier RRS.
