I was speaking to a hilux owner Friday he had new 2.8 hilux and had just fitted GP2s as well. Was just returning from trip 4wd out back of Byron and also a trip up Fraser Island. He was very complimentary had no issues anywhere. They are quieter than my Cooper Zeon LTZ were

Oh and right now it's pay for 3 get 4th free. $1175 fitted. Plus I got a good second hand Goodyear 255/55 R19 for my spare so all diameters are right.
Pretty happy with them really good service

Yeah I was looking very hard at Gordon's rims however I like my stormer rims. Most of my off road is Beach work so I will give these a go. The only issue I hard with Cooper Zeons was my fault ran them too low too hard too long and damaged sidewallsNew Nitto Terra Grapplers GP2

Ive been running the 20,s with GG 275/45 AT,s and done 2 sidewalls so far, one was a pothole on bitumen and the other i dont know how, at $350 a tyre i think the compomotives will save me $$ in the long run plus peace of mind..i also do mostly sand but sometimes have to get thru the rocks to get there.
I think my rims are stormers also, will be for sale shortly.

Yeah I hear you and understand. The 50's have a pretty decent sidewall so will give it a go
