Cheap flights between capitals nowadays. Line up three or four to look at in the one trip, treat SWMBO to dinner and a show. Get a car AND some Brownie points at the same time

negotiations on the range rover didnt go to plan.
    listed price was 39k. i offered 32k
he came back with 35k without some things (bluetooth retrofit & gearbox service)
i said 35k with those things
    and thats were it ended
he seemed offended i walked away

here is the car for reference

    We've taken a wrong turn

i'm not sure what to do now.

Wait, either another will turn up or they will lower the price if it doesn't sell.

It does have Aspen interior which the other one hasn't.

I think you will find it difficult to get what you want - yes you can wait but compromises may be required. Remember as far as the L320 is concerned the TDV8 had just about all the fruit as standard - the basic TDV6 (like mine) doesn't even have folding mirrors or the centre command centre - the basic TDV6 is pure poverty in comparison.

I think $35k for that interior is too much. I personally don’t like the pre MY10 RRS interior.

I agree with the previous, its a big investment. Take a flight to Victoria. It’s a much bigger market. WA can be a bit cheaper if you are able to go west.

As a comparison a 2011 L322 4.4 tdv8 with 200,000 km recently sold in WA for about $39k. A lot nicer, with obviously a lot of hw km, with an 8 speed ZF and TFT instrument panel.
    L322 tdv8 poverty pack - wow

i would of paid 35k, if it had Bluetooth and the gearbox serviced.

    i dunno.
part of my agrees that i need to compromise
other part of me thinks, i'm spending 35k, i should get what i want. i'm not paying 35k for no bluetooth.

Buy mine - comes in tasty teal ( a bit scratched from North Flinders Ranges trip)l, ivory interior, ACE, sunroof (rattles a bit),talk to the car thing (it says sorry when you swear at it, in a posh English accent), newish airbags, new turbos, tranny done by A&B in Dandenong last year (maybe the year before but who's counting), new glowplugs (don't know why), a little crack in the speaker cover LH back seat, Harmon Kardon juke box, after market hitch from those people in NSW, and you can have the original plough as part of the deal, had a look at the camshafts, very little wear, etc etc ......no bluetooth or phone, but lots of buttons that don't do much, BUT you plug your phone into the aux socket and behold - it rings through the talk thing and you can talk back!! ONLY 330,000 country k's - its a steal I tell you. No electronic diff though - sorry
