When I was looking for a L322 I drove many. The vehicle I eventually purchased is in absolutely immaculate condition and ticked all the boxes – except how it drove. The only reason I took it was because I had tested another vehicle with the same tyres and passed on it because of its manners – I really thought something was wrong, when reviewing my notes (which included tyre details) these two vehicles drove noticeably worse than the others, so I took the gamble that it was the tyres that were to blame, everything else was perfect – thankfully I was right.
If the first L322 I drove was one of these two, I probably would have stopped looking and purchased a D3. I was amazed at the difference in driver experience...
