    L322 Brakes

I have my '03 model L322 TDV6 Rangy in for service. Front and rear pads need replacing. Front pads changed 33,000k ago. Is this a good lifespan or am I doind something wrong. I don't drive agressively or usually brake hard although SWMBO says I do a bit. OK so how far do you get on a set of front pads? Jim

The brakes take an absolute caning in these cars - if it's anything like mine, you will notice brake dust on your rims just a few days after washing it. 33KKM for a set of front pads sounds ok, you should get plenty more from the back ones. I wouldn't expect to get more than 2 or 3 sets of pads to a set of disks either - but they aren't expensive to replace IF you shop around - have a look here -L322 Brake service costs - I did the front disks and pads in mine last weekend for $350.
