My '05 HSE with hard phone dock (not BT) gives 1 but not 2. With BT neither.
My '07 vogue with BT allows neither 1 nor 2.

It must be the phone that I'm using that won't allow BT contact list - might be a setting on the phone will have to look into it.
My guess is that your phone voice access features can't be used in any way through BT?
The hard dock allows the full list of functions including auto redial and voice contact list dialing etc etc so it is probably a better way to go rather than through BT which appear to have limited functionality anyway. It's just the touch screen features that are locked out whilst in motion.

Voice dial works on ours, although it needs to be set up for specific contact entries rather than being the full voice command features available on the Android handset.

Definitely have call logs but I'm unsure as to whether it locks out on the move. Phone book does not lock out. No SMS functions at all.

the plot thickens - it looks like it may be handset BT capability dependent.
With my '05 phone hard dock I press the steer wheel R/T button and I have an autoredial of the last number.
With the '07 BT phone conn that button does nothing.
