09 TDV8 Sport wont start after 2 months

I have ben away overseas for 2 months, and my 09 TDV8 Sport has been sitting in the garage unused while I was away.
I was fearing a flat battery, however when i tried it it cranked , started, and ran for about 20 seconds.
When I put it in reverse to back it from the garage it had no power and then died.
When i try to restart it just cranks and cranks but doesnt fire.

Im guessing its a fuel problem but where to start?

Can't help but you would be better posting in the D3/D4/RRS section rather than the FFRR section that you have posted in. In the other section you will get a lot more views by people with similar vehicles.

Ask the mods if they will move the thread. (Ask via the little red triangle at the top right of your thread)

Yes for some illogical reason the forum considers a Range Rover Sport to be a D3 rather than a Range Rover.

And the RR has more and more in common with the D4 as well, so following the same logic the FFRR should also be in with the D3/D4.

Maybe we should start a BMW X5 section for those with an early L322??
