G`day BigJ ,
Google " eka code range rover " and find the RangeRovers.net link , headed P38a Security and Alarm System Operation & Diagnosis on RangeRover .
You`ll see there is a heading for EKA .
Have a read and it may give you some ideas .
If you are on the Polynesian island Tonga I doubt there is a Land Rover dealer. This would be your best option.
As that company in the UK returned your money they are obviously OK. Why not try calling them explaining the situation they still might help. Remember the big time difference. The website asks for a registration number ( number plate) and vin, as they are UK based their automated system is not going to recognise your number plate. Failing that why not try and find a Land Rover dealer in another big City and see if they will help over the phone
From my understanding the Dealers can get the code via Vin number as long as you prove ownership
Try any dealer in the UK, they might accept an email with copy of rego as proof of ownership. I bought a key like that, sent them a photo of my Oz rego and that was accepted.

I just finally get hold of someone in a Dealer and read to them the VIN# they say that no security code in their database. They recommend to go back to LR to redirect to UK for code..
Is there any tools to clear the code without knowing the code? and resett for new code....?
By the way, you've also posted in the wrong Range Rover section. This is the P38A section, not L322.![]()

L322 didn't arrive till 02 I thought?
If it is a p38, it might be worth trying 1515 as the code. On the earler gems vehicles that didn't have an eka it was set as 1515 on the becm. A nanocom can read the eka. I wonder if bbsguy could drop in and say if theres any bosch licensed ones in Tonga.
sorry if I may confusing you guys too much, but like I said its kind new to me and not knowing too much about cars.. here is few no. may be you can figure it out:
Range Rover/43R=001588
ASIMI260DOT682
hope that help ring with someone to figureout the problem.
thanks
BigJ, The confusion is what car do you have.
There are two models you are referring to L322 is 2002 onwards. P38a is 1995 to 2002. I presume you have a P38a as you say its a 2000 model.
The vin number is on a plate behind the windscreen glass, visible from outside the car.
A Nanocom the other poster refers to is a diagnostics unit. He says it can read the EKA code on a P38a. ( not l322)
The diagnostic units are for sale from here...:: Nanocom ::
I would contact them 1st to make sure they can read the EKA code. As you are so remote it would probably be a good idea for you to have one for any issues in the future.
Do we have any confirmation about what model we are talking about here so it can be put where needed if it is in the wrong section?
L322 or P38? If you unsure, post a pic and that will tell us.
