LOSS OF CANBUS TO SOME LIGHTS

Not sure if anybody has come across this before but I have lost canbus signal to some of my lights as they do not come on checked fuses and bulbs all good, they are as below

    LH front side indicator
LH front side lamp & full beam
    RH rear indicator
LH rear bottom bulb rear light

If anybody has an idea how to reset canbus I would appreciate your feedback ,I have disconnected the battery for over 10minutes this usually reset the ecu I have the IID tool and done all ecu reset but still has not cleared the problem so my opinion is that the ecu for the canbus has lost some data.

    Thanks Declan: angrylock:

the lights are not on the canbus. The LCM (Light control module) is connected to the iBus and lights draw current from the LCM. The LCM acts as a fuse for all circuits by turning off the circuit if it thinks there is a short.

Was there any logs on the LCM?

No Harlie I am going to disconnect the LCM over night and hopefully that fixes it, its just weird that some of the lights are working on different sides of the RR, all I can do is go thru all the process and if I cannot fix it I will have to take it to the stealers to look at (ouch that will hurt )

they don't even share a common harness plug out of the LCM. very strange. All the LH fronts you list share an earth, but so does the LH dip beam.
