Could you give me a bit of advice on removing the front door trim. I have just sourced a complete trim panel from US to replace the distorted arm rest on mine. It looks like I have to replace the whole panel as the arm rest seems to be sealed onto the panel. I particularly want to avoid problems with the airbag. Are there some detailed instructions somewhere ? or can you give me a few tips ?
thanks in advance.

Have a look at this video, has the removal of the door card as part of the wing mirror install. do not forget to undo all of the plugs

The top of the dash has a mud pod from Mud UK

MUD Pod

In the mud pod is the old MID display, with the Bluetooth OBD tool the same info can be displayed on the Surface or Ipad. BUT since the surface needed a air gap above it for heat to escape the mud pod is used to cover the hole.. Also makes it really easy to remove the surface and to upgrade tech later on. Already measured the hole for a surface 3 and it fits even better then the 2!
