rear bumper bar removal --- Help

Hi need some information regarding removal of the rear bumper bar. Have a sensor out and looking to fit some decent reverse lights. Might even look at making a decent rear protection bar.
Question -best way to pickup a reverse circuit wire? Or do I have to run a full circuit. Looking at using LEDs.

Rear bar is easy to pull, 5 bolts on top, under the plastic cover, 5 underneath and 3 in each wheel well.
The lights i picked up from inside the spare wheel well, just before it pulles off into the tailgate harness. blue from memory, could be very wrong tho.

As far a the rear protection, I have considered this also, but have you ever been in a position to need it? the departure angle on these rigs is rather good.

    rear bar removal

Last weekend sliding down a steep hill in ruts it got crossed up and gave the D/S rear 1/4 panel a good hit - thats what popped the parking sensor. thats why Im looking at protection. No point having a 4x4 if you dont use it.
Thanks for the info. Will look at removing it this weekend.
