    Very Nice!
I'm pretty stoked now, only 2 more sleeps to go to take delivery.
I was in hospital this morning and was knocked out. On discharge I was handed a leaflet it said, no driving for 24 hours, also said not to do things that require concentration or signing documents etc until tomorrow, and no alcohol.
    I haven't had a drink yet.

Good heavens Mario , doesn't sound like the Heather I know .

Well done Mars, looks like a good'un apart from the ****** wheels which you're getting rid of anyway, and the fish scales should be a good match with the grey upholstery.

What a magnificently maintained car. I'd be delighted if mine looked like that after 13 years. Here's the thing I've always considered when buying used: if it looks like that on the outside, chances are it's been mIntained like that on the inside too.

Greg,I felt like sending a photo to the owner of the one we looked on the weekend which was $7 more and disgusting and tell him he's dreaming. But in his mind his was very good.

Yep, goes to show, presentation is everything. I can never understand people who buy these expensive cars and let them go. Mine has been to the Kimberley twice, many other long trips, and even after nearly 60,000km you'd struggle to pick it from one that's never done anything other than school runs.
The rule: fix ANYTHING and everything you'd want fixed if you were buying it, as it happens and when it happens, no matter the expense.
It always pays off at the other end.

    Nice car.

Highbury have a good reputation and only move good stock through their doors. We had a look at one there when we were buying ours, but it was a couple of years newer than we could afford the time.

    Enjoy!
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Thanks mate.I was lucky on this one as he doesn't usually carry them this old. Milton told me that he has a good buyer to source his stock. we discussed the fact a lot of cars are coming from Qld. I brought up the flood discussion. He said when a car comes in , they take the door panels off and check for mud, if they find any it gets rejected.
Don't know if he was serious or tongue in cheek, but the couple I previously looked at where from QLD.
For the money why would any one bother to buy a Land Bruiser.
The technology in these old vehicles is what a lot of new vehicles are fitting today.
