the Vehicle had 2 owners, it has been serviced every 10,00kms by Land Rover dealers ships and then later by independent Land Rover shops up to the 160k log book, I will do the next scheduled service.
The previous owner had spent $10k on it looikng t the receipts for work done. that included fitting a new turbo $3000 for part, had the drain hose unblocked, failure was due to blocked crank case breather filter.
He paid a whopping $3000 of labour for that work with the service!.
If only he had a RAVE CD.
Then the rest was on suspension, air bags done and rear suspension parts.

The only niggles that I have to fix is, which is ok as the car is 13 years old 1.
is the Drivers seat Valance is cracked/split. I could probably remove it repair it and make a fiber glass clone? then it will last forever, or just buy another one in. Apparently these are common to break as people slide their bums off the seat without their feet touching the ground first.

    2. The sun glasses holder on the roof console doesn't stay shut. I'll have to pull it off, it'll probably be a part on the cam has broken or slipped out of position, More aesthetics problem, if your anal like me.

    3. The Sun roof blind is stuck? in the open position, doesn't really worry me but it would be nice to have that operational.

    some pics.

Had a good look around the engine bay yesterday to familiarise myself for future servicing.

I'm Amazed on how much room there is to swing spanners.

The oil filter, looking up smiling at you and not hidden like the TD5.What no injector loom bathed in oil like a TD5
Now if these 3litre engines could be transplanted to a D2

Looking at some vids amazed how easy it is to take the dash apart and un clip trim. May be they did it to save time for the techinicans for repetitive component replacement, I hope they didn't do it for the reason.

Pedro that's the passengers fold out cup holder, that's O.E.M

But I have already modified mine. If my fishing bubby smokes in my vehilce and he had a can of drink and pulls it, it opens up the sunroof and an exocet missile launches under his bum and ejects him out through the roof.

Yeah, cup holder - there's a really cool one that you can see folded away at the bottom RH side of the pic. You push it to unlatch it and it opens forward and down. Someone did a great job there.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Here you go Pedro, IMG_20160823_122159.jpg here is mine in action. Iy is tightly holding a skinny 200 mil coke can, so for all those sugar hit drinkers, it will safely hold a V or Redbull can also as well as the standard size cans.
