I had my lower tailgate latch come loose and was causing latch problems, but nipped it up and adjusted it and all was good. should have a fiddle with the latch and it might come good
Ok so I think I might've found the cause of my mystery battery drain. The info centre is now whinging that the tailgate is open, plus the interior lights in it won't go off- not even if I turn them off via the overhead roof switch in the front. I can't seem to be able to shut it properly, the tailgate catch has quite a bit of free play when closed. I am able to close the tailgate so it stays put, but it's still being reported as open. I've pulled the lights to save the battery for the meantime, but obviously that's no solution. Anyone been down this particular road before?

Righto, I'm off for a quick fiddle then. Hope it fixes the light problem too. Need to get this sorted in time for the Vic 4wd show, hoping to take her around the track a few times. Thanks for the suggestion, much cheaper than a replacement latch- new ones are somewhere north of $260 atm!
Adjusting the tailgate has been on my to do list for a while, as lights staying on in cargo area has been an occasional problem.
