    The polish worked a treat.

Only doe a small area bit it was quick and easy.

I will finish both headlight assemblies today.

Thanks folks and the RR will finally be up for sale on Carsales this week.

Hi BigJon, would you have more details about what is involved?

Also. I have to SERVICE the CD player.

It's not broken, it just has not been used for 5 years and need to be removed and serviced. Has anyone done this as I have not found any reference to this job anywhere?

Tim, I also changed the camera on my MY06 td6 for a cheap one. Key points for me were, the signal is nothing special - standard analogue video. Either PAL or NTSC but you can buy cameras that support both if you’re not sure. And the power to the camera is always on, so don’t buy one with LED lights for night viewing or the LEDs will be always on, even when not in reverse.

Not sure if the physical mounting is similar between our rangies but it was a custom mount job. None of them will be a direct swap physically. Mine is on a small piece of aluminium pop riveted where the old one was. All hidden under the spoiler so you would never notice.

If you remind me in a few days I can take pics but I’m away from home until Tuesday.

Buy cheap camera. Remove rear panel above tailgate window to access original camera. Make new camera fit and cut / shut wiring to suit.
