    I think the srs fault will throw what they call a hard fault which will need to be cleared by the dealer. If you turned the ign on to test your window without plugging in the bag it will throw the hard fault. Did this on my p38 and cost me $110 to get it reset.

    I used to reset the SRS faults on my P38A (before the annual roadworthy) with Black Box's Faultmate. (I had a faulty rotary coupler, later replaced)

    theelms66. I think you have nailed it there. I did connect the door card up to test the all was working properly. And yes I did not refit the airbag for the test.
    I can live with the light until something WORSE happens...ha ha....

    Pas , iidtool should b able to clear it, I thought you had one?

    Yes i do .this was on my p38 . All good with the 322
