    2008 headlight lens

    Hello

I've searched but not found.... Is there replacement lens available for the 2008 headlights?

I have badly sun damaged plastics, sanding and polishing has made a huge improvement but I'm still not real happy with them - I know we can get the glass for a 2004.

    Thanks

I have a machine polisher you can try. Cutting compound with polisher usually works ok on other cars but I also need to use it on my L322.

Thanks Pete - they were so bad I started with 1200 wet/dry sandpaper, then 1500, then 2000, then 2500, then polish - all using a 3inch machine. Spent quite a few hours on them (removed from car) and was actually happy when done - however, 1 week on and they already look a bit naff.....

I found Disco4 on Aliexpress for a resonable cost but so far I have not found 06-09 L322.

At least the 2008 L322 headlights are not too badly priced, compared to the 2010 facelift headlights.

Mine are a bit pitted, so might buy replacements too next year.

I've just seen a quote for a new 2010 drivers side headlamp at approx. $4300.00... To be clear that's just the drivers side headlamp on its own!

Once you have done all that hard work you need to spray paint lens with a uv stabalized clear.
