Air Con/ fan won't turn off.

    L322 2008 3.6 diesel

Air con fan came on full speed while driving.
When stopped (key on) front air-con fans also running, so seems whole air-con system engaged.
I am thinking maybe a stuck relay or such.
Turning speed dial down does not change fan speed.
Turning off climate control (air-con) does not turn off air-con. (Still blowing cold and flat out.)
Turning key off turns off main air-con fan and front condenser fans, BUT smaller blower fan in dash keeps going even with key out.
Have removed fuse 34 which is indicated for air-con and main air-con fans (internal and on condenser) appear to have stopped, but blower fan continues even with key off and out.

Problem is in 2 days, I have to start a 6500k+ trip from Kununurra to South West WA via NT and SA and over Nullarbor because no road open directly into rest of WA from Kununurra.
All I want to do is shut off air-con fans and such without disabling rest of electrics if possible.
What other fuses/relays might have to be removed to isolate those circuits? as don't want to disconnecting battery every stop.
Only have access to owners handbook (everything packed), so what fuse/ relay numbers please if known.

Search for final stage resistor pack. It's located on the RHS of the blower (IIRC) and is accessible from the driver's side footwell, at least on some year model L322s but IIRC it's the same on all L322s.

My MY12's blower fuse (40A) is #21 in the rear fuse panel.

Re Blower fan won't turn off

From suggestions below, I went looking for any info on the problem.
Seems that "air con fan starting on its own and not responding to controls, or blower fan not turning off even with key out", is a common problem for L322.
i found a link with directions on how to get to the offending unit.

MKIII How To Replace Final Stage Resistor

In my case, I just went for the plug to the resistor and unplugged it. No blower, but main issue solved in the short term.
Now all i have to do is manage the next 6500k's through central Australia in an L322 without a problem. What could go wrong?

See if you can source a new FSR on your travels so that your a/c can work again.
