    I think I know the answer.

    Does the body have to be lifted, to remove the transmission? I'm pretty sure not.

    I learned that lesson, sort of, many years ago, in a Holden. Except for the time I parked, pointing down hill, at Big Rooster, Lutwyche. After forcing it into reverse, I couldn't get it out. Had to reverse from there, through The Valley, to the far end of New Farm.

    A bit off topic,i remember the old Man driving around Fraser Is for quite a few weeks in the Series 1 with no brakes(apart from the handbrake) as it had a broken brake pipe.

    Eventually the parts arrived,thrown out of a low flying circulating light plane, in a potato sack, at the old Coomboo lake airstrip.
