Yes, similar symptoms to mine. I had the bearings changed and found no difference. Off the top of my head I'm not sure if it grinds when cold or not. I won't be with the vehicle now for a good few weeks either. I do know that it's more evident under brakes although it is still evident otherwise. It seems to be most evident while coasting in lower gears on smooth tar.

Yep, Topix indicates the vin SALLMAM546A198146 has a 6HP26 which as I understood didn't require repair. However, it would be an early release of that model so maybe it is included.

I missed this one last year, but just saw this new news article:

I just called the dealer to see if my 2010 was affected and the service rep said they were awaiting a list of VINs from JLR; and that as a 2010 ("earlier") car; my car might be one of the first. I need to wait for a letter from JLR apparently.
