Can large filler nozzles such as those used for trucks be used with the misfuelling devices that I understand are fitted to current (at least) vehicles?

I had same prob on recent trip in our Golf too.
It took me over 10 min to half fill, what a pain.
I got caught with my 1st D2 until LR provided a replacement larger filler neck. Now I have a D4 on order which is supposed to have the same misfuelling device as the RR and my local village servo, which is from where I get almost all my fuel, only has 1 bowser and it has the large nozzle.

I have had the misfueling device trip 3 or 4 times now, but once you get the hang of it, it’s fairly easy to reset.
I have fuelled up a few times using the large truck nozzles and although bloody slow, it’s never tripped
Thanks Drivesafe. I hope that the device can be removed or that the D3 filler neck can be retrofitted.
