The pdf you linked to refers to the tailgate on the 2019 Velar, not the windscreen of a 2018 D5. Do you have the original windscreen? If it's a replacement, it may not have been sealed correctly.

						Hey there,
I have just experienced a water leak on the driver side, and appears to be from the windscreen, and dripping onto the steering column. (possibly sunroof ?)
I can see from USA forums a number of similar issues, and even cases of a class action being taken out with JLR USA.
There is also this work order that states the issue is known to JLR, and is to be replaced by JLR (see below)
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10173517-0001.pdf
As this is USA, has anyone in Australian faced the same issue, and what has been the actions you have taken, and hopefully resolved by JLR AU.
Any assistance much appreciated.
Cheers Scott.

The windscreen is original, never replaced.
Wondering if others had also experienced this ?
From memory i believe this was a manufacturing issue, which some vehicles had.
I would speak to a dealer about it first, even if the vehicle is out of warranty, particularly if it has the original windscreen.
You may have to ring around,as there are dealers, and there are dealers.
