    Looking at buying

I have a 2015 SDV6 SE and it has low range, locking diffs and the dynamic selection on the terrain response. If you search on the internet you will find the original brochure for each year as a PDF and it shows of the specifications per model. If I was clever I would include a link, but I am not. I traded up from a D4 and love it. Only practical issue is rear cargo capacity is less flexible. Only mechanical issue so far has been an alternator, but at 150kms to be expected.

Is the switch on the bottom right corner of the dial the Low range one? It says Lo so I am assuming so, if so this is good news and I think I have found the car to buy.

Yes, that is the low range button. It looks like the car also has the Dynamic program which I believe was an option.

In response to Patclan's first post, The cars are available with various option packs, and each has a number. The P24 is just the option pack number for the HSE Luxury Pack, and it was a No Cost Option (NCO) at the time. Not sure why they even bothered making it an option if it was no cost. P24 included the 12.3" TFT Virtual Instrument Panel, Volumetric Alarm, first aid kit, and 18/18 way powered seats with memory.

How would you know if a car had locking diffs, is there a button? From what I have seen. in the doco all the V8s have dynamic, what ever that is. It was so much easier buying a Defender ;-)

Probably.. dont rely on the salesman, they know nothing, get the vin and search... and research..

oh, and I had a hard requirement for the bigger stereo. Was worth the search, the two larger Meridian systems are Brilliant. Mine has 9 speakers just in the front--- and that sub! under the rear floor! amazing..

The Dynamic option includes the rear e-diff as it's required for torque vectoring, a component of Dynamic.

yes all the SDV8's are Dynamic so all have E-diffs,, you could maybe tell from underneath if you knew what to look for... They flash-up RED when they are working!! Cool animation...
Poor v6 owners with old fashioned gauges.....

All the ones I have found have the standard audio that I can determine, I watched a couple of Powerfuluk vids yesterday and it seems quite easy to replace the speakers with the higher end ones, and also fit the sub, as long as the wiring is there.

I may have to settle for that as the car I am looking at meets most of the other requirements, although not fully loaded like the dealer suggests, it seems the best of the bunch. Taking the misses to see it tomorrow for final not of approval ;-)
