    More SDV8 stuff

    Some more SDV8 info--

Moving 6T on cruise at 100(GPS) kph the engine uses 28LB boost, regardless of Sport 7th or Drive 8th..

Normal temps seem to be 96 for coolant, 106 for trans, 120 for engine oil.
pretty much regardless of ext temps or rain!

rain also doesnt seem to affect tyre pressures.. I thought it would cool them and the pressure decrease but--

after talking to BigJon in Adelaide about the old fluids--
for those towing--- service your trans! a fluid dump every ten and a full service at twenty, diffs every twenty, theres so little fluid in those things.

The only trick is getting all this onto the Official LR service history...

    just as a aside--

We had a brand new cruiser and Excaliber Prince parked overnight next to us in the Swimming Pool carpark at Balranald..
Come the morning and at some godforsaken time the cruiser rattled into life then he had to spool the turbo to get it to move off... I mean HAD to.. not for effect.. on a dead flat hard surface...

I was gobsmacked when I heard a new LC300 pull into a car park I was walking through ..... it sounded terrible .... so incredibly noisy and rattly!
