I've tried to take the cover off the rear bumper to get to the recovery point. As with my previous D4 I've undone the coin screw thingies but the panel doesn't come away. I've tried to google this but the closest I've got video wise is for is a D5 .... but it does give some insight to what 'may' be required. However, the RRS is a bit more fragile than the D4 in that department and I don't want to crack anything whilst adding some elbow grease.

Can somebody give me some guidance please? The car is a MY2019 RRS and I suspect the cover has never been removed since the factory.

Update :-

The panel is like the D5 I saw in the video. You undo the two screw thingies and then gently wiggle the panel whilst pulling away from the rear of the car. There are multiple horizontally orientated clips, the same as on the front spoiler.

Another fun find .... there is no rear recovery point. There is a screw hole for the eyelet that is located in the wheel well. According to the manual neither the front recovery point nor the rear eyelet are rated for an off-road recovery. Makes you wonder why the fit TR and a low range TX case to the car in the first place. LR are probably being cautious but I sure as hell wouldn't do a snatch off either ... especially the rear. Probably OK for a bit of assistance. I'll have to look into the availability of rated attachments for the car.

I would hope my rear tow hitch would work,
anyone done a recovery at the front?
