Any cold running of any engine does it no favours.

It is the design of the JLR engines that has been causing the issue since 2016.

Many other manufacturers inject the diesel at the DPF,so oil dilution cannot occur.

Which is patented. So they use retarded injection to work around the issue. This can lead to washing the cylinder walls and oil dilution. Yay for being able to patent the bleeding obvious. Well done GM.

Not only GM,many others do it as well.

So if GM have the patent how do others get away doing it?
