    The stop-start (which I have switched off) batt reads 2.4v...
    This may very well be the original stopstart batt...
    I recall someone in the UK with a L405 found that some features stopped working when they disconncted a sense wire for the stop-start battery to disable stop-start.
    Have you tried re-instating what you disconnected to disable stop-start?

    LR had several different implementations of stop-start support. My L322 didn't have stop-start so I didn't keep track of what method to prevent-stop start was used for the various implementations. Now my D350's stop-start is effectively disbled by setting the CCF button/switch status on engine start to last user mode rather than on, acheived with a G4 Gap tool. I initially removed a 5A fuse but I didn't like seeing the stop-start fault indicator all the time and I wanted the MH battery to be used in traffic, which had been disabled by the removed fuse.

    It might pay everyone to check all their sunroof drains are working--
    the floor ( under the navs seat, under the carpet )under the amp was a swimming pool...
    Amp was never actually in water,, but splashage probably occurred..

    that whole amp area has ducted air conditioning......

    Car had a 40min run yesterday, todays job was to attach charger in maintenance mode...
    batt voltage before charger 12.3v
    maintenance mode ran for 6 hours, something about AGM's not likeing the heat buildup?
    will run again before charging..

    $500 every 18months for a new batt is ridiculous...

    Batt charger switched itself off with a "06" error... which is overheated batt...

    and after a week of drying the amp now works fine!
    under carpet floor is dry, carpet blocks dry, just have to reinstall everything...
