Just cleaning out my phone, when I bought the car it had a fault, P0087-22.

couldnt find any information so im sharing some.

the previous owner has had mechanics look at it, receipts for rail pressure sensors etc.

anyway, with the engine out i had access the the second Low Pressure fuel pump, Supplies 65 psi to the High Pressure Fuel Pump.

I changed it, but while i had it out i tested the old and new pump in engine oil (pump works harder easier to see difference on a multimeter) the old pump threw oil less then half as far as the new pump, at the same current draw, the new pump outperformed the old in diesel aswell. after the rebuild i tested and my reoccuring fault went away, it was not the easiest job with the engine out, maybe possible with the engine in, but i would hate to do it.

Problem fixed, All 4x4 in Kotara had it on the shelf
