Seeking Consolidated 2014+ HSE SDV8 Rim Size Info

So, new to the RRS ownership experience (love it... so much used car for the money) and wheel swaps in general (more of a bike guy). We are rural NSW so getting A/T tyres on is a priority - poor generally potholed roads and 6klm of gravel to get to the house is a way of life.

Car has the red Brembos and 9.5x21 wheels marked as DK62-1007-EA on the silver spare, have not checked the black ones on the car yet. Best as I can tell these have a +49 offset but can't confirm that as could not see any marking to that effect on the rim. Much said already on here about unavailability of A/Ts for these wheels. Having trolled at length trough the related Forum search results and having looked at the markings on the spare of my car, I am still a bit confused.

Searching here seems to indicate a set of used LR rims in 8.5x20 with +47 offset will be the best option and I have seen a few sets of these around but am wondering if someone can confirm this given the differences in what is currently on the car. (i.e 9.5 wide and +49 offset).

All the 8.5x20 with +47 offset sets I have seen are at least couple of hours drive away so getting eyes on them for a trial fit is problematic (but not impossible) and buying up front and getting them shipped to me is a leap of faith I'm not yet comfortable with. Just want to be more confident I am looking for the right thing with some help from those that have been-there-done-that.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hope I'm not leading you astray, but I'd be looking at 18" rims and fitting LT tyres. Check out the Tuffant range. I purchased Compomotive 18" for the D4, but now I would buy Tuffant.

I have 19" D5 rims on my MY21.5 L405, fitted with GG AT3 255/65R19 (LI 113) tyres in place of the original 22" rims. I chose this combination for my use on rural gravel roads and driveway which can also become boggy and for the occasional use climbing rough, rocky tracks and that I had this tyre on my MY12 4.4 TDV8. No L494, L405 or L663 19" rim fits over my L405's front brakes.
There's more tyre choice in 20" using 275/55R20 but they're oversize, albeit not by a lot, and I wanted to stay with standard diameter if possible. However I don't recall the L494/L405 offsets to be able to confirm your +47mm, only that I understand that all L494/L405 20" rims will fit over your front brakes.

I've just put 20" wheels on mine. Went through the same thing. I have the V8 Diesel and they did fit. Was lucky the old owner of the wheels also had the v8 Diesel so no stress for the drive out there. I used a website called willtheyfit.com was really good at seeing how the offset and widths affect each other and fit up. I have Toyo that came on the rims, as soon as they are worn enough they are going in the bin. Noisey and a bitty slippery in the wet. I think mine are 265/50/20. You can get wild peaks in that size.
I wanted genuine LR rims, I was going to paint a silver set but found a black set of 6, most for sale were only set of 4 which was annoying.

That site is great, hours of fun to be had there... So were the 20" you have the 8.5 at +47? I'm switching from black to silver - the black ones just get way to dirty on the gravel roads and we're on tank water so hard to justify washing them all the time...

Appreciate the rest of the replies, but conventional wisdom seems to be that I can't go smaller than 20" which I'm fine with. I did have a look the Tuffant ones through a link in another thread. I'd prefer to go for LR ones if I can, I'm sure the Tuffant ones are nice but for the price premium over a set of used LR rims there was nothing really that grabbed me from their range design-wise to justify heading in that direction.

Unfortunately. Mine are aftermarket King wheels. I recommended and only wanted genuine LR rims. The offset used in the rrs is in the owners manual and the offset on most LR rims is stamped.. But as long as you compare to what you currently have with that website you'll be fine. As for cleaning the rims,
Auto Glymm make a wheel protection film. I've not used it personally. A mate does and rates it.. Might be worth a try.. My black wheels get dirty. But no worse then the silver that was on before.
