I reckon I would see 200 other dual for every 130......nearly as rare as hens teeth.

Gregz isn't far off the mark.
Looking at JAG I Pace charging specs,it uses 7KW of power for 13.5 hours for 380KM.
So in real life driving, depending on style, etc, maybe high 200kms from a charge?
That is a huge amount of power.
Then there is the 'Quick Charge',thats 100KW for 45 minutes.
That 'Quick Charging' certainly won't be done from any domestic power supply without a massive power upgrade.
We keep getting dragged back into EVs by a few people that have a keen interest in the subject. Erhem cough cough *goingbush* cough cough
It is interesting but I don't think the defender is ready for it. Considering the defender is synonymous with remote adventure, a full BEV defender EV at this stage would be a joke.
Let's discuss what we would require from a BEV land rover in this thread -》

A 130 is an extremly heavy duty a work vehicle and also extremely capable off-road vehicle. Fleets of the defender have been used the world over in many industries including the army. They were not perfect however judged the best option at the time. Perenties are to this day one of the most hardcore vehicles money can buy dont you think.
How's this NSW reg 110 dual cab, got to be the toughest looking and most capable dual cab ever made imo, if you had one these in every car yard in australia they would sell like hot cakes.
