The new defender will be powered by a Pentium Processor . We are talking well over 133mhz here. It will have enough power to spin up four wheels and operate the windscreen wipers at the same time - without crashing! Real talk.
Oh and I hear there will be a setting for 'classic mode' that you can purchase as an over the air software update. It will reduce engine power, and amplify the engine and wind noise in through your stereo. Nice!
And oil leak simulator from catch can intermittently drops oil over engine, on/off for roof leak fed by windscreen bottle,
Seats will have uncomfortable mode, and lever comes out from floor and restricts your leg movement, rattles and driveline clunks mode through speakers, airbags will have an opinion to not deploy in an accident, flaps will simulate square body fuel effeciency on demand,ac and heating will have a half mode and susp height will have an optional 1 height fits all, Current defender owners and series owners will feel right at home![]()
That would be perfect!
Except for the seat setting. Defender seats are comfy!
And I would add, DUMB MODE. If activated , the pentium processor shuts up. Anything out of spec is ignored, no limp modes, no warnings!
Bloody hell, there is nothing new in all the world is there?
Now, if Engineering could only reverse engineer all the above points there could be a good vehicle in it.
Spotted in Japan, was that on the test list?![]()
That might be more about getting it spotted and creating some buzz... Wrong time of year there to do any meaningful enviro testing. Maybe they just wanted an excuse to check out the Cherry Blossoms...
