Cool, got pics? Was it a tjm bar fitted in factory or dealer fitted prior to pickup.

I think there was a similar non winch arb on rrcs?

I'd respectfully disagree. I've driven a couple of different generations of the Prius and variants, here and in Japan, and they are genuinely economical - I got under 3l/100km on one trip and 5l/100km on a 800km trip in country Victoria, keeping in mind that hybrids are most effective in stop/start traffic. So, I'd suggest that in the real world they're actually pretty effective. And given that I've seen a few for sale with over 500,000kms on them it'd appear that their relative complexity doesn't mean that they're unreliable.

And, from a quick google, it would appear that it's now only plug in hybrids and full electric vehicles that are currently exempt from the London congestion charge.

Ive had an arb bar with arial mount deform and push into a RRC bonnet just tapping a tree,
If you destroyed an ARB bar you must have more than just "Tapped" the tree and comparing an animal strike with hitting a tree is quite silly really.
I wouldn't fit one of those stupid flimsy pipework bars to a lawnmower let alone a 4WD and I have been using ARB bars now for a couple of decades and I haven't destroyed one yet despite hundreds of animal strikes.

ARB had the contract at one point (Tdi's) can't recall who supplied TD5's but it was a similar design to the ARB version.
Winch bars didn't have the extra gusseting that aftermarket ARB winch bars had.

Australian Land Rover part numbers, dealer fitted.

That's what I said above, just like the A/C, and with a Land Rover Australia part number.

The UK bars, just like the A/C were considered inadequate.

Only if ARB stumps up the R&D to make one....

If I was Mr Anthony Brown or his associates I wouldn’t be rushing to build a complex monocoque design for a vehicle that could flop like the D5 in Australia ?

Interesting Rick, yours looks like an ARB bar...
My 1995 130 had a factory ordered bar that was definitely TJM non-winch flavoured? No markings on it at all.
There are photos on AULRO of it BR when I built scrub rails and sliders for it...
