As best I can read , the three US options are;
-3.0 I6 petty with turbo and a 48V supercharger fed via 0.2kW lith battery (355hp
-3.0 I6 petty with turbo and a 48V supercharger fed via 0.2kW lith battery (395hp 405’lb)
-2.0 I4 petty with 114hp electric motor fed via 13.1kW lithe battery (plugin) (398hp 472 ‘lb)
-3.0 V6 dieso with turbo (single) ADBlue (254hp 443’lb)
Will certainly be interesting to see what they release the defender in the US vs ROW vs Aus
From the above I reckon you’d have to have a long look at the PHEV assuming the price delta isn’t too great. Assuming it follows the Rangie pricing the upsize petty and PHEV will be plus $5k on the base petty or dieso... if it does 50km fuel free and you have a charger at work would make a cheap commuter with range on the weekends....... assuming they actually put more than 55L of petrol tank into it!!!!
Interesting times!
