Glad it has alpine windows. That's an iconic LR feature for both Defender and Disco.
Most of it

Yeah cheers, saw those photos, just fact checking.. respect your opinion however in context of myself and GBs convo and your call of "most parts being the same" as the FJ...specifically what are these most parts are the same as the FJ Cruisers?
Most is generally between 50-100%
The only parts I can see that are the same are black coloured seats and then there is a similar coloured roof.
"B Pilar" is of similar size but part of the rear door on FJ so cant be compared strength wise and is most likely a glorified seatbelt mount.
Rear window is around 30% of new defenders size.
Seats are together in fj, about a foot apart in defender.
Rear door is half door in fj, defender is RRC LSE legth and opens normally with split old window like old defender.
New defender has alpine windows, fj doesn't.
New defender looks to have glass rear side luggage top paneling, fj metal for the most part.

Given the size of that B pillar and modern design including wide track and stability control I reckon that roof should be rated to 100kg. Easy. I'm not saying I would generally use that but it would be nice to have.
Cheers
