Really, I don't recall confirmation of 32" as factory size. I doubt it.
D3/D4 factory size 30" > 31.5" common aftermarket size with minor arch rubbing > 32" can be done but some mods required.
D5 factory size is 31" and I reckon most likely to be same for Defender. And if so, 33" may be difficult to fit.
I think sizes around 32" will be where things end up, hopefully with 18" possible.

Sadly nothing about this pic appeals to me.

We have bought two defenders from new, a puma and tdi which we still own. I quite like the look of the new disco's, even the back bits, so I am not completely adverse to the new designs. We need a new car with more power and comfort but which still retains serious off-road capability and practical load carrying and towing ability. But I am not going to pay 100k for a car. So I was greatly looking forward to the new defender and have been wondering whether to put down a deposit. But now.... meh!

I don't really want all the fancy electronics but accept that it is inevitable. I may still be won over if it ticks all my other boxes but it is not looking good so far. G wagons are looking more appealing every minute and my money would probably go there if the professional had 5 seats and it did not fail my 100k test. As I am definitely not going to join all the other dual cab sheep I am really running out of options. ..... oh well long live the tdi!
