I think this is our leaker, 1st post and oldest on on insty from what I can see.
Some more interesting stuff leaking regarding sept online.
Just realized Slovakia is a 90, maybe im mistaken with the C pillar.
I can't really make sense of what's going on inside, might be just front seat but doesn't look right.
Well, I was reserving judgement until I saw the finished article. Now I more or less have and I have to say, congratulations Land Rover; you've taken 71 years of heritage and wiped your backside with it.
Why on Earth would you go to all the trouble of replicating features like the flat rear end, the roof shape, the alpine windows, the curved shoulder line and the headlight signature to then put a bulbous, generic-looking bonnet and wings on it and a bizarre grille that bears no relationship to anything that has gone before? Thst's to say nothing of the fussy bumper treatment, perimeter cladding, blackout strips across the pillars and a set of wheels that would look more at home on a VF Commodore.
Toyota, Jeep and even Mercedes-Benz still manage to make serious-looking four wheel-drives that have a strong visual connection to their predecessors, but Land Rover have to take probably the most iconic one of all (or at least one of the two most iconic of all) and turn it into a soft-looking, overstyled caricature of what it should be.
Land Rover have completely lost the plot. They'll probably sell millions.
untill you see mcgoven actually take the cover off,,,,

Finally -
About time someone got an actual photo that is of the actual vehicle!
Agree that someone will get a slap on the wrist for that one! But chances are this is simply LR marketing thinking they are being smart?
Besides it looking incredibly ugly, those bulging metalwork guards are going to be very hard to protect. The line looks like the guard continues forward and wraps to centre. Any steel work will either need serious panel work (cutting plastic bumpers is one thing but can’t see ARB monkey installers being certified to cutting metal work ) so then the only other option is a silly wrap around bar outside the guards?
