I saw the pics, I thought the dash looked awful, and I do not believe that the dash shown is the dash of the new Defender.

I’m not convinced the pics of the leaky dash are the real thing either. It’s very beige LOL. ...the whole ‘leaky’ image could be a ploy, including withdrawing it. ...But we just don’t know.

Drumming up the publicity over such an extended period is a double edged sword too.

yeah, nah, that interior is so dated there is no way that would be anything like what they'll release in the final product.

I can understand LR getting all funny about that pic getting out and it's not because they are trying to protect the secret of what it might look like, but rather that they don't want it associated with the Defender for fear of turning people off.

TBH it reminded me of those poxy grey slip on shoes from the eigthies.

BTW as per a previous post, addition of a 3rd seat in front to provide seating for eight is what I have also been told.
    Cheers,

    Sean

    Pickles,
Looks practicle but JLR us confirmed its an old shot as above, but i would say its the general layout.

Like the mule shots outside, we just have to use our imagination for finished product, dont get to worked up about pre production mockups

Correct, not so long ago,not many single cab utes didn't have a middle seat.

In the new vehicle,i bet the rear of the centre seat will fold forward if needed,so will be a handy arm rest or a little centre console box,or something.
