Looks like it most likely will be MLA for defender, but who knows

Good to see some decent sidewall. Hope that keeps up.

    Cheers

Interesting the bowler Bulldogs are independent and run 18s with 31s if my calcs are correct.

They are winning races with this setup

Mate I do like more sidewall v width...but if someone said "Here is the Bulldog gratis, but you have to keep the stock tyres" I think I could live with it...Won’t be retro...

    Cheers

As I've mentioned previously, WRC cars run 60 aspect ratio tyres now and the 4wd based Rallye-Raid cars (e.g. Dakar) use 18" rims x 60 series tyres.

But I wouldn't like to go with a lower profile and see no benefit in a normal on/off roster.

The high profile is to allow you to run at low pressures. If you are above 10 psi you are not doing anything hard.

I think medium profile is a good compromise for 98% of people

Will be interesting if does get rumoured CTIS

I would be willing to bet a broken D2 middle row roof light switch that the front bit of the roof is sikaflexed onto that mule and it's actually got a split height roof like defender or d2. Cheers

Defenders don't have a split height roof. The front of the roof just slopes up from the windscreen to the flat roof. The most distinctive thing about the defender roof are the rounded sides running the length of the roof. It's this curve and the rounded hip curve running the length of the vehicle which are iconic Defender. It's also these which would render it 'retro'.
