    Thanks mate. I know the Defender slopes up...so does d2 but further back and more aggressively Won’t be retro.... I dont think the new one will be flat all the way back is what I'm saying. Land rover loved their non flat roofs on more modern vehicles except on RR. Even d3 and d4 had a minor change in roof height. Cheers

    I'm looking forward to seeing if there are any 'retro' design cues in the new Defender, given all McGovern has ever really said is that it "won't be retro". It will have to be a damn good new piece of design to do the icon justice without it being retro!
    ...I assume all those fridge boxes sikaflexed on, will have to come off sometime this year!

    Interesting comment on some mules have rear mounted wheel others dont.(are they utes?)
    Some new artist impressions, personally i think they will look better than that, based on the mules, even the tire profiles are wrong, but maybe can order more onroad biased version.

    Good. Defender is a much bigger potential market than a few super-rich yuppies who want a Rangie coupe.

    I’m guessing the all new Land Rover (Defender) might be more expansive than we are hoping for.....hopefully not super rich bracket.

    I am guessing base model will be same as base D5 plus what $10k Would make sense unless for some reason they did a base base that was a coiler then that would be better pitched just under D5 base (but I understood all Deefers will be air suspended).

    Correct,but to focus 'its resources and investment on the next generation of world class products' sounds not much more than a load of hype.

    More than likely they dropped this coupe due to cost cutting.

    Lets hope they haven't done any cost cutting to the new Defender project.
