The interior will be vegan, and the car will observe a database of geofences where you will not be able to drive. Eg. Mc donalds drive throughs and toyota dealerships.

It will also have a built in arm that automatically swings out the bonnet and waves at passing defenders and royalty.

    Its going to be awesome!

Ha, love it ! no doubt the 3D parts printer will be able to print a fully charged EV battery in under 5 mins, from the goat poo and fencing wire you have in the back .

I have seen paper made from elephant poo, but I'm not sure if goat poo would work.

Mercedes are now 3D printing metal parts.

reminds me, someone has made an electric motorbike entirely made on a 3D printer, wheels , tyres & all.
looks like a it does not track straight in the video but its early days for the tech.

3D printing is coming along....once of our customers printed bicycle frame out of titanium......

A vendor I use for castings is on the cusp of buying a 3D metal printer but is holding off as they haven’t developed the consumable he needs economically.

Beat me to it - one of the titanium bike frames I was looking at had a 3D printed disc brake assembly.

Ok, I heard from a dealer there is a rumor even the defender is being delayed or worse because of brexit.

But he could have just been talking rubbish, when i asked him a few other questions anyone with any defender knowledge would know, the responses where not factual, like where the new defender was being built etc.

He said they are waiting on a bulliten from JLR re: Defender.

I find it highly unlikely thet would shelve the defender mid international testing after no doubt incredible amounts of money spent to date getting it to this stage.

Brexit on a ‘majority’ vote of only 52%. Departing the EU good for business?

The whole thing is laughable. Who in their right mind thought that was a good idea? But the most ridiculous thing is that now only 53% would vote for no Brexit according to the latest polls!

The global coloniser still wants to pull up the drawbridge! Hows that going to work in the global reality of ‘just in time’ supply and demand? It won’t. The JLR boss video confirms - It’s all teetering on the brink of collapse all the time.

JLR - British ‘luxury’ and ‘exclusivity’ at its best.

Even more reason why the next Defender needs to be a vehicle for the people, the workers, the world...not a Chelsea chariot for the elite armchair ‘adventurer’. If they get it right it could save the company.

Interesting - I’ll have to dig up my post when I said ‘If’ the new Defender is ever released and commented LR may look for any excuse to kill it before it goes to production.

Hope I’m wrong mind you, but I’ve always found the ‘delays’ over the years just one of the tactics they seem to be using to do this.

Not overly expensive for small parts either (If you’ve done the CAD) - check out the first 10 minutes of the video below.
